Day 1: Addis – Awash National Park
Drive through Ethiopian Great Rift Valley Region to Awash through Amhara, Oromo and Afar tribal villages. Up on arrival you will enjoy a game drive in park and you will have a game drive to visit the Awash River Falls, mammals and birds. It has over 350 species of birds that have been recorded in this savannah grassland and is one of the most geologically active regions of the world. This park is the oldest and most developed wildlife reserve in Ethiopia; find common animals like Beisa Orex, Soemmerring’s Gazelle, Salt’s dik-dik and more. It is even easy to access. Awash National Park occupies about 830 square kilometres (320 miles) of dry savannah in the middle of the Rift Valley. Drive back to Addis through Ethiopian Great Rift Valley Region and visit Beseka Crater Lake.

Day 2: Awash – Harar
After breakfast a scenic drive to the walled city of Harar. It is considered the 4th Islamic holiest city in the world with more than 1000 mosques. Evening you will visit the Hyena Man.

Day 3: Sightseeing tour of Harar
Morning you will visit cultural museums of Arthur Rimbaud’s house, Grand Mosques, Emperor Haile Sellasie childhood residence. After lunch you will visit the colourful markets, the 16th C encircling Wall and its gates.

Day 4: Drive Harar – Dire Dawa
In the morning drive to the old town Dire Dawa is known as “Queen of the Dezert”. Here you will visit the old railway station in the colourful city. Enjoy the rest of the day by exploring the old town.
Day 5: Fly Dire Dawa – Addis – Departure
After breakfast, fly back to Addis, then as per your interest you will have sightseeing tour of Addis which includes National Muesum, Trinity Cathedral, Ethnographical museum, and Merkato-the largest open air market in Africa. Then evening you will be invited by Lonely Ethiopia Tours at one of the best cultural restaurant with folkloric dance of different tribes of Ethiopia with local cousin and coffee ceremony. Late you will drive to the airport for your flight back to home
